Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver for our Oakland, ME location to efficiently pick up and deliver metal products to AIM’s commercial clients and sister sites.

The role requires a valid CDL, manual transmission experience, a clean driving record, and at least two years behind the wheel. Overtime is paid, and the position offers 401K benefits and home daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience.
• Experience operating a Roll Off is a plus.
• Must have a valid CDL Driver’s license and drive a manual truck.
• Must have a clear driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and delivery to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site, dropping empty box for full box and return to yard.
• Load security, tarping if necessary.
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Perform a daily inspection.
• Keep reports up to date.
• Always work in a safe manner.

Job Description

American Iron & Metal is a growth-oriented metal recycling and processing company located in Montreal, QC. We are currently recruiting for experienced CDL-A Drivers for our Oakland ME location. The successful candidate will be responsible for the pick-up and/or delivery of various metal products.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and delivery to AIM’s commercial clients or another AIM site, (dropping empty box for full box and return to yard)
• Load security, tarping if necessary
• Keep the equipment clean and in good working condition
• Perform a daily inspection
• Keep reports up to date
