QXO in New Orleans seeks an experienced CDL driver to join our distribution team. You will load, deliver, and unload building products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload products to customer sites safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck and load.
• Verify load accuracy and notify dispatch of any discrepancies.
• Maintain clear communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow DOT safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

What you'll do:

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Class A or B CDL license in good standing
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

What you'll bring:

• Perform touch-freight tasks, which may require lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify the accuracy of the load
• Notify branch management of any potential hazards on site
• Set up job parameters and inspect the site to ensure a safe environment for loading and unloading
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher to ensure timely delivery of products
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures, and always wear appropriate PPE
