Job summary

QXO in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a CDL driver to join our distribution and installation team. You will deliver building products, operate with a manual transmission and adhere to safety procedures.

Responsibilities include pre-inspecting the truck, loading/unloading, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining a safe loading site. You must lift up to 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL license.
• At least 12 months of verifiable commercial driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and driving a manual transmission truck.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and a manual transmission truck.
• Perform touch-freight tasks, lifting, moving, or carrying products weighing over 75 lbs.
• Pre-inspect the truck, load materials, and verify load accuracy.
• Notify branch management of hazards on site.
• Set up job parameters and inspect sites to ensure safe loading/unloading.
• Maintain regular communication with the dispatcher for timely delivery.
• Follow all DOT and company safety procedures and wear PPE.

What You'll Do
