Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking CDL Class A and Class B drivers to perform local deliveries and material transport between locations. You will play a key role in ensuring timely, safe deliveries while providing strong customer service.

As a CDL Driver and Yard Associate, you will interact with customers, operate equipment, and participate in yard tasks. A valid CDL and clean driving record are required, with opportunities to advance within a family-owned operation that values safety and

Qualifications

• CDL license required and valid class A and/or B.
• Experience driving commercial trucks with safe record.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and truck regulations.
• Ability to plan routes and meet delivery deadlines.
• Willingness to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers.
• Deliver to customer job sites and warehouses.
• Assist in yard operations including loading and unloading.
• Inspect vehicles and perform basic preventative maintenance.

• Flatbed - Dump Truck - Moffit/Donkey**

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a dedicated CDL Class A and Class B Drivers to join our team. In this role, you will primarily make deliveries to customers and transport materials between our locations. Your contribution will be vital in ensuring our customers recieve their materials on time while keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront of your work.

As a CDL Driver and Yard Associate, your interaction with customers will be crucial in providing them with the best experience possible. You’ll be expected to exhibit exceptional customer service skills along with the ability to operate various equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers.


• Customer job site and warehouse delivery


• Assist in yard operations, including loading, unloading, and moving product


• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance


• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules


• Comply with CDL rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.


• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues


• Report defects, accidents, or violations

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver


• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc)


• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations


• No recent moving or driving violations


• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)


• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations


• Valid CDL license


• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment


• Strong customer service skills


• Experience with flat beds and dump trucks


• At least a CDL A is required


• Moffit & forklift experience is a plus
