Job summary

Ewing Outdoor Supply in Littleton, CO is hiring a CDL Driver to plan routes, transport materials, and deliver on customer sites in a fast-paced wholesale environment. You will perform routine vehicle inspections, comply with CDL rules, and provide excellent service to contractors and professionals.

The ideal candidate has a valid CDL, forklift experience is a plus, and a safety-conscious mindset. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• CDL license and driving experience required.
• Familiarity with GPS/AVL equipment and CB radio preferred.
• Solid knowledge of trucking rules and regulations.
• No recent moving violations on record.
• Ability to adapt to traffic and weather conditions.
• Must be able to pass background and drug checks.
• Experience operating forklifts or yard equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.

• Conduct customer site deliveries and warehouse transfers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections for safety and maintenance.

This diverse driving role includesplanning delivery routes, transporting deliveries to customers, and transferring materials between our locations — making it ideal for someone who enjoysbeingactive and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.This role also requires maintaining maintenance and safety standards while providing world-class customer service while on delivery sites.

Responsibilities

Daily Responsibilities
As a CDL Driver, your role supports day-to-day operations in a fast-paced wholesale environment serving contractors and industry professionals. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Delivery and Transportation

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers.
• Customer job site and warehouse delivery

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections for mechanical items and safety issues
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles
• Comply with CDL rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations

Customer Service

• Communicate effectively with team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with customers on deliveries

What we are looking for…

• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.)
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
• No recent moving or driving violations
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations
• Valid CDL license
• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment
• Strong customer service skills
• Moffit & forklift experience is a plus
