Job summary

Ferrous Processing and Trading, a business of Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, is seeking a CDL A Driver for our Cleveland, OH location. The driver is responsible for transporting steel and scrap in accordance with DOT regulations and company expectations.

Key duties include completing receipts, logs, and maintenance records, and operating the vehicle in compliance with OSHA/DOT requirements. We offer a competitive compensation package with health insurance, retirement, paid time off, and training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A).
• Interstate Endorsement.
• Pre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required.
• Must maintain safe driving record (MVR).
• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience with heavy haul or doubles is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch.

Ferrous Processing and Trading, a business of Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, has an immediate opportunity for a CDL A Driver at our Cleveland, OH location. The driver position is responsible for transporting steel and scrap according to DOT regulations with a Commercial Driver License (CDL).

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Completes daily field service activities, including preparing receipts, truck logs, and maintenance records.
• Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state, and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle
• Performs all duties as scheduled by Route Manager or Dispatch

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have a valid Commercial Driver's license
• Pre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required
• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search
• Work in outdoor weather conditions and temperatures
• Class A CDL
• Interstate Endorsement
• Previous experience in a heavy haul or doubles is a plus; however, we will train the right individual
