McLane is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move, supply, and provide for America's favorite brands. You’ll work for a company with 130+ years of leadership and earn industry-leading pay while enjoying comprehensive benefits and a path to a long, secure career.

Role includes inspecting tractors, handling DOT logs, delivering to customer sites, and maintaining safety standards. Requirements: CDL-A, 21+, 1 year or 50,000 miles, good MVR.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects before and after trips and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destinations and comply with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain driver logs (Manual or Peoplenet) per regulations and document delivery receipts and temperatures.
• Unload products at customer premises and perform other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: Drivers make $85,000 to $90,000.
• Sign-on bonus: $10,000

What you’ll do as a CDL-A Delivery Driver:

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a CDL-A Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
