CDL A Delivery Driver - SYGMA - Harrisburg, PA

Join our team as a CDL A Delivery Driver at SYGMA Harrisburg. We are part of Sysco Edmonton Careers and are looking for dedicated professionals to deliver excellence to our customers.

Job Overview

Our drivers run 2 to 4 routes per week, with routes lasting no more than 36 hours. Earnings range from $90,000 to $95,000 annually. We value teamwork, safety, and customer service, offering paid training and top earning potential. Our formula for success: Route Pay + Incentives = Top Dollars.

Responsibilities

• Unload products safely and efficiently at customer locations according to company standards.
• Complete all paperwork accurately, including logs, inspections, and invoices.
• Follow food safety protocols and maintain sanitary conditions in vehicles and warehouse.
• Develop strong customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or completion of tractor trailer driving school.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe lifting practices.
• Ability to drive long distances, handle hazardous materials, and operate various vehicle types.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Physical and Work Environment

• Regularly lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 350 pounds.
• Work involves exposure to various weather conditions, noise, and potential hazards.
