Job summary

US Foods seeks a delivery driver to safely operate trucks, meet delivery times, and unload products at customer locations. You will verify deliveries with customers, handle payments when applicable, and provide excellent service on every stop.

Applicants must be 21+, hold a valid CDL Class A with DOT qualifications, and be able to read and communicate in English. FMCSA Clearinghouse registration is required. Compensation starts at $24.50 per hour with component pay, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL Class A with endorsements & DOT qualifications.
• Six months commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months in food/beverage delivery.
• Manual transmission experience preferred.
• Able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet delivery schedules.
• Unload products from trailer using a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and stock customer storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
