Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver to safely operate CDL A equipment and meet customer delivery times. You will unload products, verify deliveries with customers, and handle payments when applicable. Excellent driving record and ability to read/communicate in English are essential.

This role offers a $15,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for growth within a large food distribution network.

Qualifications

Must hold a CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months in food/beverage delivery.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
Unloading and placing products in designated customer storage areas.
Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
Handle collections and payments when applicable.
Provide professional customer service to enhance client experience.
Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
