Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC in Phoenix is seeking a CDL A delivery driver to load, unload and deliver materials to customers. The role involves pre/post-trip inspections, porter tasks, and adherence to safety policies while handling material with equipment like pallet jacks and dollies.

Ideal candidates are 21+, with a valid CDL A and DOT medical card, comfortable with iPads, and able to lift 50 lbs+. There is potential for overtime and a competitive compensation package accompanied by benefits

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh over 50lbs.
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load/unload and ensure delivery of ticket with material.
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems to supervisor.
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment, receiving, verifying staging and stocking incoming material.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including PPE usage, body with max weight capacity of 400 lbs.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening required.
