Job summary

Ferguson in Greenville, SC is hiring a CDL A truck driver. This role involves delivering materials to customers, loading/unloading with pallet jack, and maintaining safety standards. You will work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with potential overtime, and be home daily.

A valid CDL A and 2–5 years of commercial driving experience are preferred. You must be 21+, pass pre-employment screenings, meet DOT requirements, and be comfortable using basic tech like iPads.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A.
• 2-5 years of commercial truck driving experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements.
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations.
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card.
• Ability to lift items weight up to 50 lbs.
• Background in warehouse operations and logistics is a plus.
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach.
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer using pallet jack and two-wheel dolly.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product for credit requests.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and fuel the truck.
• Follow and implement all safety policies and procedures.
• Assist warehouse with pulling and preparing orders and receiving/stocking material.
• Work overtime as needed.
• Adhere to PPE safety rules, including harness use for up to 400 lbs.
