Job summary

Sysco Greco Illinois is hiring a full-time CDL A Delivery Driver to transport food and restaurant items to customers in the Elgin, IL area. You will perform pre-trip inspections, safely operate a company vehicle, and provide courteous service at delivery sites.

Your role requires 21+ years old, a valid CDL A, ability to read and speak English, and the strength to lift up to 75 pounds. Prior delivery or foodservice experience is preferred; weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL with insurability.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for reports and communication.
• Able to lift 40–60 lbs repeatedly and up to 75 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Drive and deliver food and restaurant items to customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Operate vehicle safely and comply with traffic laws.
• Use a dolly to unload goods and provide courteous service at delivery sites.
• Complete invoicing and maintain vehicle and delivery records.
• Report mechanical issues promptly.
