Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a professional delivery driver to service customers within a scheduled route, ensuring timely delivery and professional interaction with clientele.

The role emphasizes safety, adherence to DOT regulations, and accurate documentation. Regular pre/post trip inspections and on-time load checks are essential to meet our service standards and keep customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL A.
• Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes according to schedule.
• Delivers and unloads food products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
• Conducts pre/post trip inspections and reports safety issues or needed repairs.
• Ensures proper loading, securement, and accurate paperwork including invoices and signatures.
• Maintains DOT compliance and safe driving guidelines at all times.
