Job summary

Performance Foodservice is hiring a CDL-A Driver for Indiana’s Batesville area. The role supports America’s food distribution system with intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading products safely and on schedule. You will be the face of the company, building relationships with customers.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, home daily, and a sign-on bonus of $5,000 with benefits starting Day 1. CDL-A required; 21+; DOT and safety compliance essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A license and clean MVR in past 3 years.
• Able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Meet DOT health requirements and road test.
• 21+ years of age and ability to lift 10–90 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate/interstate routes.
• Deliver and unload food products to customers safely and on time.
• Perform DOT-required pre/post trip inspections and safety checks.
• Communicate with customers and coworkers professionally.
• Complete paperwork, collect payments when required, and sign for deliveries.
