Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers in Chesapeake, VA. You will inspect vehicles and documents, drive safely to customer locations, and deliver products with attention to accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and clean MVR.
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, following regulations and maneuvers.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
