Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Virginia is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to join our nationwide distribution network. You will operate tractor-trailers, inspect shipments, and ensure accurate delivery while adhering to DOT rules and safety standards.

Qualifications

At least 21 years of age.
Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A).
At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
Ability to read, write, and understand English at a functional level for safe operations.

Responsibilities

Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of regulations and maneuvering skills.
Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations and document deliveries.
Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
Other duties as assigned.
