Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move products to customer sites with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance. You’ll maintain logs, inspect vehicles, and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries across our distribution network.

Starting pay is $25.00 per hour with benefits beginning Day 1, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA and company-paid life insurance. The role requires clean driving records and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane’s MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination per regulations and safely maneuver on roads and customer premises.
• Maintain driver log according to DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.
