Performance Food Group (New) is seeking an experienced CDL-A Delivery Driver in Halethorpe, MD, to deliver and unload food products along intrastate and interstate routes. You will represent the company with customers, perform DOT safety checks, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries.

The role requires 6+ months of driving, a valid CDL-A, and a clean MVR. Compensation includes an average of $95,000 annually and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, with benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight.

Responsabilités

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and co-workers, ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, performing duties to best serve the company.
• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections to meet DOT safety standards.
• Reports safety issues or needed repairs promptly.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.
• Drives to deliver customer orders according to a predetermined route delivery schedule.
• Unloads products at customer sites and stores them in designated areas.
• Completes required paperwork accurately and legibly for freight.
