US Foods is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver in Charlotte, NC. You will deliver to customers early mornings, back into docks, and unload with focus on safety and accuracy. From loading to signature verification, you’ll be a key link to customers while upholding a strong safety culture.

Average annual pay is around $90,000 with additional potential via component pay. The role requires FMCSA compliance, English proficiency, and a valid CDL A license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months in food/beverage delivery.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Safe Driving: Deliver products to our customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unloading: Unload products using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand to designated storage areas.
• Delivery Verification: Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Customer Service: Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
• Equipment Inspection: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections for safety.
• Account Management: Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Adaptability: Perform other duties assigned by management.
