Job summary

US Foods is hiring a CDL-A Delivery Driver in Greensboro, NC. You’ll safely navigate highways and city streets, back into docks, and unload with precision while delivering trust and reliability to our customers. Training starts at $27.69 per hour.

After training, drivers switch to component pay based on stops, miles, and cases, with an earning potential of $80,000–$100,000 depending on experience. Benefits begin Day One, including health care and retirement options, alongside a strong safety

Qualifications

• Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse*
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum 6-months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR 3-months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unload products using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand; 100% touch freight.
• Verify deliveries with customers and secure signatures.
• Provide professional service to enhance customer experience.
• Conduct pre- & post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Handle collections and payments when applicable.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
