Job summary

US Foods in Madison, WI is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver. The role offers an early start, four days per week, 10-hour shifts, with an average of 45-50 hours per week. OT is paid for every hour worked on an off day, and there is a $5,000 retention bonus for eligible new hires.

You will deliver to customers safely, unload 100% touch freight, verify deliveries, and maintain equipment safety checks. You must be 21+, hold a valid CDL A with required endorsements, and have baseline driving

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have a valid CDL Class A with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or 3+ months in food/beverage delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers in a timely and safe manner.
• Unload products efficiently using a two-wheeler, ramp, or by hand (100% touch freight).
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance experience.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to uphold safety standards.
• Handle collections/payments when applicable.
• Adapt to other duties as assigned by management.
