Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Texas is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move and deliver products to customers in a safe, timely manner.

You will perform pre/post trip inspections, manage bills of lading, and maintain logs per DOT rules; position offers day-1 benefits and a 4-5 day work week.

Candidates must be 21+, hold CDL-A with 1 year experience; background check and drug screen may apply.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A CDL-A
• Minimum 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane MVR and risk rating qualifications
• Ability to read/write/understand English for job-related tasks and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection report
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during off-hour delivery
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and safely maneuver vehicle
• Maintain driver log per DOT regulations, document delivery receipt and temperatures
• Unload trailer and deliver products to customer premises
• Other duties as assigned
