Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking CDL A Delivery Drivers to professionally deliver products to customer locations on time, with a focus on exceptional service and a friendly, professional image on every route. Start earning immediately with paid training; after training, most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week on a standard 5-day schedule.

Pay varies by route and conditions. Day routes depart Kalamazoo, MI.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled delivery times
• Manually unload products with a two-wheeler and place items in designated areas
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures
• Collect customer payments when required
• Provide professional customer service to enhance client experience
• Safely operate commercial vehicles in various conditions
• Lift and move products up to 50 lbs (occasional >75 lbs)

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

About the Job:

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled customer delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place product neatly and carefully in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies
