Job summary

Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to support home-daily routes delivering to customer locations in the South Bend, IN area. You will unload, verify deliveries, and collect signatures while upholding safety and service standards.

Starting with paid training, you will transition to a pay structure that rewards productivity; most first-year drivers earn $1,400–$1,700 per week, depending on route and performance. Schedule is Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer and place them in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Provide professional customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in various areas and weather.
• Lift, push, or move products up to 50 lbs. and occasionally over 75 lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA DOT hours of service and safety regulations.

Salary Range: $70,000.00 To $90,000.00 Annually

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic.

Schedule

Home daily routes that depart and return to South Bend, Indiana. Monday- Friday.

About the Job:

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled customer delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place product neatly and carefully in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.
