Van Eerden Foodservice is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver for Flint, MI to deliver products to customer locations on schedule and provide exceptional service. You will verify deliveries, obtain signatures, and assist with payments when required, while maintaining safety and professionalism.

New drivers can earn by a component pay structure after training, with many earning between $70,000 and $90,000 annually depending on route and conditions.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and medical card.
• Must be 21+ and pass DOT drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies.
• Delivery driver with customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customer locations on schedule.
• Unload products from trailer using a two-wheeler and place in designated storage.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Collect payments when required.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Safely operate commercial vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally over 75 lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA hours of service rules.
• Follow company safety practices.

Pay:

Start earning immediately with paid training! Once training is complete, you'll move into our component pay structure, which rewards your productivity with additional earnings potential. Most first-year drivers earn between $1,400 and $1,700 per week working a standard 5-day schedule. Salary varies by route type, business conditions, and each driver's work ethic

About the Job:

• Deliver products to customer locations meeting scheduled customer delivery times.
• Manually unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler and place product neatly and carefully in designated customer storage areas
• Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
• Collect customer payments when required.
• Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experience.
• Safely and efficiently operate commercial motor vehicles in urban, suburban and rural areas in all weather conditions.
• Lift, push or move products that frequently weigh up to 50 lbs. and occasionally greater than 75lbs.
• Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.
• Perform all work within Company safety practices.

Requirements

• 21+ years of age.
• Must pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen.
• Background check free from felonies
