Job summary

McLane is hiring CDL-A Delivery Drivers to move and deliver products for America's favorite brands. We offer industry-leading pay, day‑1 medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus strong client relationships and a safety‑driven culture that helps you get home safely and more often.

As a CDL-A Teammate you will inspect tractors, review bills of lading, drive to destinations, maintain logs per DOT, unload at customer sites, and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid CDL-A license.
• 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English; compliance with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and file DOT inspection report.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy during delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination following regulations and ensure safe handling at customer sites.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations and document delivery receipts.
• Unload trailer and deliver product to customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
