Job summary

McLane is seeking CDL-A Delivery Drivers in West Valley City, UT. You will move products for major brands, uphold safety standards, and operate within DOT rules. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits from day one.

Pay ranges from $85,000 to $100,000 annually, with 401(k) and additional benefits. Experience with tractor-trailers and a valid CDL-A are required. Excellent home time and reliability are valued at McLane.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Valid Class A CDL.
• 1 year or 50,000 miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects and submit DOT inspection reports.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destinations in compliance with regulations.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations.
• Unload trailer at customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do As a CDL-A Delivery Driver

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You'll Bring As a CDL-A Teammate

• At least 21 years of age
• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A)
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
