American Welding & Gas, Inc. (AWG) in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Class A CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. The role involves loading, delivering and handling gas and cryogenic products to customers while complying with SOPs and DOT/OSHA regulations.

The position requires HazMat, Tanker and Airbrakes endorsements on a Class B CDL, and the ability to lift heavy cylinders; company benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Must have Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.
• Pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and road test required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move and store gas and liquid cylinders; deliver to customers or branches; complete tickets accurately.
• Move and secure cylinders safely; deliver CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers/vessels.
• Read and follow SOPs; comply with DOT/OSHA regulations; complete shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and electronic trip-logs; perform other duties as assigned.

American Welding and Gas, Inc. ("AWG")has an immediate opportunity for Class A CDL Delivery Driver in Indianapolis, IN . This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements.

Duties:This position has the responsibility of loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and crynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.

• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels
• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets

Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled

• Maintain electronic trip-logs
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Class B CDL Required with HazMat, Tanker & Airbrakes endorsements
• Able to read and write English
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.)
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers Drug Free work environment.
