Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc. (AWG) is hiring a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Appleton, WI. You will load, unload, and deliver gas and cryogenic liquids, ensure accurate paperwork, and maintain vehicle safety and compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations.

The role requires Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy cylinders. AWG offers comprehensive benefits and a sign-on bonus as part of a broader incentive package.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Assessment and company administered road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers.
• Drug Free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and cryogenic liquids and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Responsible for loading, unloading, and delivering CO2 and cryogenic liquids in transport tankers and/or cryogenic vessels.
• Read, understand and follow all SOPs.
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations.
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Ensure vehicles are appropriately placarded and/or labeled.
• Maintain electronic trip-logs.
• Maintains Cleanliness Of Vehicle.
• Performs Other Duties As Assigned

This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements.

Duties:

• loading, unloading, moving and storage of gas and liquid cylinders, CO2 and cynogenic liquids and other hard good supplies; making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
