Job summary

McLane Company is seeking a CDL-A Delivery Driver to move products to our customers. This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and timely delivery with home-time benefits and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, accurate paperwork, and safe operation of a tractor-trailer. We offer day-one benefits, paid time off, and opportunities for growth within a long-standing logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license.
• At least 21 years old.
• At least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles of tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must meet McLane's MVR and risk rating qualifications.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tractor-trailer for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT inspection report indicating condition.
• Inspect bill of lading and store keys for accuracy in off-hour delivery.
• Drive tractor-trailer to destination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skill in maneuvering vehicle on the road and on customer premises.
• Maintain driver log (Manual or Peoplenet) according to DOT regulations, documenting delivery receipt, product temperatures and exceptions.
• Unload trailer, delivering product into customer premises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Rate: Drivers make up to $100,000 for qualified candidates depending on experience
