Job summary

J.Polep Distribution is seeking exceptional Class A CDL drivers for our Chesapeake, VA operation. You will deliver dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to convenience stores, gas stations and other retail establishments, typically floor-loaded and hand-trucked to the front door.

Routes run Monday through Friday with home every night, weekends off. Benefits include life insurance, disability coverage, 401K, quarterly safety bonuses, sick time and PTO, plus medical, dental and vision insurance.

Qualifications

• Minimum Class A CDL with a valid DOT medical card.
• Experience delivering to convenience stores, gas stations, and retail outlets is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Class A Tractor/Trailer safely and in compliance with DOT/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to stores and other retail establishments.
• Load/unload with a hand truck or dollies; ensure product integrity.
• Maintain service accounts and handle returns, refusals, and containers.
• Follow daily routes Monday–Friday; be home nightly.

J Polep Distribution services/NCD services the Convenience Store Market in the Northeast. We are headquartered out of Chicopee, Massachusetts, and are growing. We are Looking for exceptional, class A drivers to join our team at our Chesapeake VA Operation.The delivery service would include delivering the product to stores, institutions, schools, hospitals, colleges and other retail establishments. Drivers usually make the delivery through our customer’s front door using a 2-wheel hand truck. Routes are sent out daily, Monday through Friday, and drivers are home every night and off on weekends.JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:· Deliver dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to convenience stores, gas stations and other retail establishments.· Product is floor loaded.· Delivery is made using a hand truck.· Service accounts by collecting returns, refusals, and empty containers.· Operate a Class A Tractor/Trailer combination safely and in compliance with DOT and state regulations.LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS:· Class A Driver’s License· Medical DOT CardBENEFITS INCLUDE:· Monday -Friday· Local, regular routes – Home every night.
