Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Concord, NC is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to serve restaurants, schools and hospitals by delivering food products and building relationships with customers. Day shifts with home time daily, routes start early and finish when completed.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location

6200 Gordon Food Service Drive, Concord NC

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

5 Day work week Monday - Saturday! Start time 2am-6am & work until the route is finished

Pay

Guaranteed minimum of $1100/week

• Daily base pay, plus component pay
• Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
