Overview

CDL-A - Dedicated truck driver - Blish-Mize role at Schneider. Haul hardware merchandise in dry van trailers. 95% pallet jack unloads, 5% hand unloads. 2 loads per week with multiple stop-offs per load. Drive within CO, IA, IL, KS, MO, NE, NM, OK and TX.

Average pay: $1,300-$1,600 weekly

Home time: Weekly

Experience: All CDL holders

Pay and bonuses

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required within 60 days of hire; Schneider's self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 100 miles of Atchison, KS.
