Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. is seeking dedicated CDL-A drivers for home daily runs across Michigan and Indiana, with routes from the Metro-Detroit area and growth into additional markets.

Join a team offering steady year-round work, $1,600 weekly average, and benefits after 90 days, including health, dental and vision, PTO and paid holidays. Expect 60–70 hours weekly, with emphasis on safety and DOT compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• Minimum 6 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• No DUI/OWI in last 5 years; no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Secure and handle freight and maintain logs.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers.
• Report mechanical or safety issues.
• Adhere to schedules and safe driving habits.
