Job summary

Mid-Atlantic-Roofing-Suppl is seeking a CDL Class A Driver with knuckle boom or crane operation experience for full-time work in Jacksonville, FL. You will be responsible for transporting inventory, inspecting loads, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation within a 150-mile radius.

Responsibilities include safe operation of heavy trucks, securing loads, delivering to destinations, and ensuring compliance with DOT safety practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A driver’s license required.
• 1+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Must pass a background check, motor vehicle check, and drug test.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and performing all duties.
• Able to operate GPS and electronic log systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive assigned delivery vehicle according to company regulations, state and federal laws, and customer policies.
• Drive trucks with GVW over 26,000 lbs and pull a towed vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
• Ensure contents are secured to prevent breakage or damage.
• Unload goods at destinations safely and efficiently.
• Obtain signatures and complete delivery paperwork with clients.
• Maintain and submit accurate delivery logs (electronic logs required).
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects.
• Maintain vehicle and perform routine servicing as needed.
• Notify managers of maintenance or delivery issues.
