Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Roofing Supply is seeking a CDL Class A driver with knuckle boom/crane experience. You will transport inventory within a 150-mile radius, secure loads, and complete delivery paperwork with clients. A clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug tests are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A driver’s license required.
• 1+ years proven experience with tractor-trailer driving.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Must pass background, motor vehicle, and drug tests.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and bending/climbing.
• Operate GPS, electric lift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, etc.
• Disciplined, dependable, and flexible; strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Operate and safely drive delivery vehicle according to regulations.
• Drive GVW over 26,000 lbs and tow vehicle over 10,000 lbs.
• Secure contents to prevent damage during transport.
• Unload goods at destinations safely and efficiently.
• Obtain signatures and complete delivery paperwork.
• Verify shipment contents against manifest.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and report defects.
• Maintain vehicle and refuel/repair as needed.
• Notify managers of maintenance or delivery issues.
• Maintain detailed driving logs (electronic logs required).
• Follow DOT safety procedures and keep workspace organized.
