Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Maryland is hiring a Bulk Delivery Driver to safely operate diesel tractor-trailers, unload pallets at customer sites, and deliver products per FMCSA regulations. The role requires route planning, paperwork accuracy, and strong customer service.

You will interact with sales teams and store personnel, plan efficient routes, and work shifts that may include over-night and early mornings. A Class A CDL and Hazmat certification where required are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and FMCSA regulations.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid FMCSA physical certification within 60 days.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Class A CDL for Interstate driving within 60 days.
• Two (2) years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-shift activities and review schedules for productive operations.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on truck and trailers.
• Safely operate tractor-trailer and complete freight paperwork with signatures.
• Plan trips using maps or GPS to ensure on-time deliveries and maintain logs per FMCSA.
• Load/unload freight at customer locations using pallet jacks and coordinate with store personnel.
