Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Baltimore is hiring a Bulk Delivery Driver to transport products using diesel-powered tractor-trailers, following FMCSA regulations and company policies. The role requires safe handling of pallets, interaction with customers, and collaboration with the sales team to ensure on-time deliveries.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, plan routes, document cargo, and unload at customer locations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must obtain and maintain FMCSA medical certification within 60 days.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid Class A CDL for interstate driving within 60 days.
• Two years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Lifting requirement of 50 lbs.
• Ability to use a pallet jack.
• Must be able to load/unload and operate loading gear safely.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate diesel-powered tractor-trailers for local and regional deliveries.
• Unload pallets at customer locations and reposition trailers.
• Plan trips using maps and GPS to meet door times and document cargo.
• Complete required freight paperwork and obtain signatures.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and maintain hours of service records.
