Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a Class B driver to operate a truck in the Taylor, MI area, collecting sharps and medical waste containers from healthcare locations and delivering exceptional customer service daily.

This role offers strong autonomy, stable hours, and benefits. The position is full-time, with a set rate of $25 per hour and 40–45 hours per week, Monday–Friday, starting early morning.

Qualifications

• CDL B License required.
• Delivery experience with manual handling is a plus.
• Willingness to work full-time ~40 hours/week.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Pass the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Flexible, customer-focused attitude.
• Experience operating up to 26 ft box trucks.
• DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Road check Level 1–3 confidence.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• On-time delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at customer locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner.
• Completing deliveries to schedule and communicating changes or challenges clearly.
• Loading and unloading; organizing the truck per schedule and needs.
• Managing a route per leadership direction and delivering timely service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Heavy lifting of up to 50-75 lbs, with occasional 50-75 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling 100-250 lbs as applicable to the role.
