Job summary

NTMWD is seeking a skilled Wastewater Operations Transport Technician to safely haul biosolids and residuals between treatment facilities and disposal sites. This role requires a Texas Class A CDL, a clean driving record, and the ability to perform thorough pre-trip inspections.

You will work outdoors around heavy equipment, follow EPA/DOT and NTMWD safety procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Texas Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience operating Class A CDL vehicles with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate hauling vehicles to transport biosolids and residual materials in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identify hazards and ensure equipment readiness.
• Accurately complete daily logs, manifests, and transport reports as required by policy and regulatory agencies.
• Maintain compliance with EPA/DOT regulations and NTMWD safety procedures; communicate with plant staff and dispatchers.
