North Texas Municipal Water District is seeking a driver responsible for the transport of solid waste from a Transfer Station to the landfill. The role requires the safe operation and care of the assigned vehicle and the completion of process records and logs.
Ideal candidates will possess a high school diploma or GED, a valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver’s License, and a minimum of three years of experience in operating Class A CDL vehicles.
Please note that outdoor work involves various physical conditions, including lifting up to 75 pounds.

This position is responsible for the transport of solid waste from a Transfer Station to the landfill following a designated route. The driver is responsible for the safe operation, care and appearance of assigned vehicle.
Driving a District vehicle for business will be required. Employees required to drive as part of their job duties are responsible for maintaining a current, valid, and vehicle - appropriate driver' s license of their resident state. Work conditions primarily include outdoor activities but may vary from indoor to outdoor. Outdoor activities may involve exposure to odor, hot, cold, dusty, dirty, and/or noisy conditions. Activities may require sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, picking up trash, pushing, pulling, carrying, dragging up to 75 pounds of equipment. Work may vary depending on task requirements.
