Job summary

Metro Water Recovery seeks a skilled driver to operate heavy road tractors and trailers in biosolids transport, ensuring DOT compliance and safety. The role requires performing pre/post-trip inspections, documenting logs, and maintaining equipment and records with attention to EPA 503 and CDPHE standards.

You will work under supervision while applying independent judgment to carry out tasks safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CDL Class A required.

Responsibilities

• Operates heavy road tractors with trailers for biosolids transport.
• Complies with DOT requirements and maintains logs and records.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and basic maintenance.
• Maintains daily operation records and compliance documentation (EPA 503, CDPHE, DOT).
• Follows safety protocols and participates in RR&R training.
• May operate other heavy equipment as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
