Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a related field.
• Knowledge and experience with U.S. Department of Transportation rules and regulations.
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Must have a valid CDL, Class A or B.
• Must maintain a safe driving record.
• West Virginia DOT physical may be required for operation of certain vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver foods and supplies to member agencies across the 17-county service area.
• Load and unload trucks on site and at delivery sites; verify invoices match delivered items.
• Comply with all transportation safety requirements.
• Maintain vehicle mileage, fuel logs, and transportation records.
• Clean vehicles after returning to the warehouse.
• Perform routine inspections and light maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Report accidents or incidents to leadership.
• Assist with warehouse housekeeping and stocking of products.
• Direct and assist warehouse volunteers as needed.
• Comply with food safety programs and policies.
• Maintain required licensure, certifications, and medical cards.
