Job summary

TRP Construction Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Pavement Marking CDL A or B Driver to join our highway striping team in Houston, Texas. The role focuses on safe operation of marking equipment and timely deployment to job sites.

Responsibilities include transporting crew and gear, performing safety inspections, and adhering to DOT regulations. The position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and travel as needed, with a strong emphasis on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record.
• Experience operating heavy trucks and/or pavement marking equipment.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ability to read work orders, maps, and basic arithmetic.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Work with the highway striping crew to install thermoplastic, waterborne paint, and other pavement marking materials.
• Operate pavement marking equipment, including airless paint machines, thermoplastic hand liners, and grinders.
• Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with DOT regulations and company standards.
• Transport pavement marking equipment and crew to and from job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete related documentation.
• Assist with setting up and operating pavement marking equipment as needed.
• Maintain equipment and vehicle cleanliness and proper loading.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while on the road and on job sites.
