Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing or clinical coding experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Certifications listed (AHIMA/RHIT/CCS or CIC) or RN licensure preferred

Responsibilities

• Reviews clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with coding and regulatory requirements.
• Identifies documentation gaps and initiates queries for clarification.
• Maintains productivity and quality while managing work queues.
• Collaborates with providers, coders, and care teams to support accurate documentation.
• Communicates documentation needs and query requests clearly.
• Supports alignment between documentation and coding for appropriate reimbursement.
• Adapts to updates in documentation and regulatory requirements.
