Job summary

Qualifications

• Current certification from AHIMA and/or AAPC and/or ACDIS.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist.
• Understanding of MS-DRG assignment and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze health records for documentation improvement opportunities.
• Generate queries for healthcare providers for clarification.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and workflow processes.
