Qualifications

• Minimum five years in clinical nursing, case management, or coding/CDI.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, PA, or related clinical field.
• Current license, certification, or professional licensing in field.
• Familiarity with Windows-based software and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of health record content, sequence, and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform retrospective chart reviews to improve documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians to clarify missing or nonspecific documentation.
• Lead education strategies to improve clinical documentation.
• Monitor and report KPIs; develop CDI strategies.
• Stay updated on Medicare rules and ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS.
