Job Description
Job Title: 1 Year - CDE Authorized Substitute Teacher
Reports To: Level School Principal and Assistant Principal
Pay Range: 1-year Substitute Authorization pay rate increase for 2025/2026 as follows: $120 for full day (6.5 hours); $60 for 1/2 day.

Summary/Objective
To enable each child to pursue his/her education as smoothly and completely as possible in the absence of a teacher by providing assistance and supervision for students when the classroom teacher is unable to teach. Assignment may be at any level (Elementary, Middle or High School) for varying lengths of time and may include other duties as needed. Substitutes are considered an essential part of the education process.

Benefits
Employee is eligible for sick leave per state law and school policy; retirement through the Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA). No additional benefits are contemplated for this position.
