Job summary

Zepf Center, a leading behavioral health provider in Northwest Ohio, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech-Residential CDCA to support individuals with mental illness and substance use disorders in an inpatient setting. Under supervision of licensed counselors, you will engage clients, facilitate groups, manage cases, and contribute to ongoing recovery efforts.

This role involves a rotating schedule including 7a-7p shifts three days per week, with weekends and holidays assigned.

Qualifications

• Must have CDCA certification through OCDPB.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in adjusting to the treatment environment and maintain a therapeutic living setting.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement during recovery.
• Aid clients with daily living activities and medication self-administration.
• Facilitate and co-facilitate group therapy and case management.
• Document client behaviors and progress in a timely manner.
• Respond to crisis situations using CPI, CPR and First Aid.
